A couple of months ago, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan underwent surgery after being diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. The filmmaker had started working on his popular 'Krrish' franchise, however, due to his medical condition he couldn't work on the script and therefore he decided to postpone the Christmas 2020 release of 'Krrish4'. During a media interaction recently, son Hrithik Roshan mentioned that his father Rakesh was getting better. As per the latest reports, the filmmaker is working to ensure that he will have a large team of creative people overseeing the script and is planning to mount the floors by early next year.

Reportedly, Rakesh is very keen that he makes the fourth part of the franchise, which will be way bigger than the first three parts. So the number of characters will need to increase, the number of enemies that 'Krrish' has to fight will also increase so that the film looks larger and bigger. Also, it is being said that the film will be helmed by Sanjay Gupta, who had directed 'Kaabil’ with Hrithik.
