KATHMANDU, Nov 16: The government has said that preparations for security arrangements focused on the election have been completed.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that necessary security arrangements have been made for the upcoming House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections to be held in a clean, free, fair and fearless environment.
All preparations for National Assembly election complete
On Wednesday, Home Secretary Binod Prakash Singh said that the government is capable of conducting elections in a fear-free environment and that reliable security arrangements have been ensured, and asked them to exercise their rights confidently.
He said that the security arrangements are tight in the polling stations in all parts of the country and the security agencies are capable of creating an environment where the people can vote confidently. Home Secretary Singh said that the security personnel have reached the polling stations for the security of candidates, the security of the voters, the security of the election staff and the security of the election materials.
